"Think
of me Ever...Mint Tea-" Every year, we allow our evergreen mint to grow tall- three to four feet- in our garden by the porch at 133. It blooms beautiful lavendercolored blossoms- and then goes to seed. The kids carefully cut the stems at the base of the plant, and bring them into the house to air-dry. A few days later, they go into the oven to dry completely- and become 'Think of me Ever... Mint Tea-". The taste is soothing- smoothe- and surprising- that it came from our own tiny garden, where we decided one year to just 'let it grow'. The myrtle underneath doesn't seem to mind it- in fact, it may even grow better! (See some of the other plants we're letting grow...)
We're working on small packages of our "Think of me Ever... Mint Tea"and will put it on the web as soon as it's ready... for now, you'll just have to come to 133 and have some...! We're always ready to make a pot for you to enjoy...)
