Seventy
Rose of Sharon bushes...
When
my neighbor gave me forty Rose of Sharon plants pulled from her garden,
I didn't know if they'd even grow... but planted them, and today they're
the most prolific plant I've seen! Each bush is trimmed to a height
of about five feet- and each year they gorw another foot and a half,
which we trim back down. The are the last to show leaves in late spring,
but make up for it with a plume of hundreds of flowers each- that lasts
from midsummer going well into fall. Here are a few photos of the range
of color- some are white, others pink , some purple- they're amazing
and beautiful plants...)
