You'll be seeing and walking under what may represent the highest form of man's creative genious and mathematical precision, blended with precise artisanwork- it may be the finest example of man's capability in a world before computers and our chemically advanced age- the Skew Arch is the ultimate expression of the advancement of man as a 'cave dweller'. Note the furthest section of the arch in the image above- it is a concrete addition to the arch- which constantly requires care and upkeep. The stone arch itself remains as sturdy as when it was made- a further testament to natural elements vs. man-made.
